À 22 ans, Soko a déjà écrit une cinquantaine de chansons. Il y a tout juste deux ans, elle n'en avait aucune à son actif.

Mais comme le prouvent les plus de deux millions de pages vues de son profil MySpace, cette jeune artiste française a du talent à revendre, et vient de se propulser aux côtés d'autres phénomènes dans le cercle pas si fermé des artistes qui ont percé grâce au Net.

Biographie

Biographie
SoKo (Stéphanie Sokolinski) est une jeune chanteuse et actrice française née en 1985 à Bordeaux. Elle se fit connaître grâce à MySpace, relayé par un DJ danois de la radio P3 qui a diffusé largement son titre le plus connu, I'll kill her (2007). Le quotidien britanique, The Times, la qualifie de « très jolie fille à la parole très leste et à l'esprit encore plus coquin ». Elle a joué au printemps de Bourges le 19 avril ; elle est annoncée, cet été 2008, dans des festivals français : les Eurockéennes, les Francofolies, Sédières et à l'étranger : The Great Escape, le Paléo en Suisse, le Festival de l'île de Whight, Pukkelpop en Belgique, Dockville en Allemagne etc.
Elle a également joué dans plusieurs films (télévision et cinéma) dont Mes Copines de Sylvie Ayme et "Je suis parti de rien", film de Xavier Giannoli, avec Gérard Depardieu et François Cluzet. Elle garde son vrai nom en tant que comédienne.
